We were accepted into the San Jose International short film festival! Thats awesome! We are excited to go, still need to figure out flights and costs associated. But that would be an amazing oppurtunity for us as we would love to meet people, experience the VIP perks at the fest and see what other great things people are makng!

Fresh Meat - Dead Meat, the Popular youtube channel opened up submissions to their film festival/competition https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYYFNQMTRVU . We LITERALLY submitted our film 3 hours after the video was released. I am CONFIDENT we were either the FIRST or one of the first to submit. Which is CRAZY we even had this film ready and active when they announced the competition. We have an aazing FilmFreeway page, we have all of our materials ready to view, and download, we had a trailer and much more activly ready within the first 3 hours of the post. This is due to our goal of having a polished package before officially started our festival run. 

There is going to be amazing films submitted, We hope we have a shot. The submission deadline is in 4 days, so ideally we get a notification of Acceptance or Rejection soon. I really hope we get in the top 30 at least.
George and I filmed our promo video last night (8/19/2026) and I edited and finished it today (8/20/2026) so we are prepared to launch that as soon as we have an answer. Fingers crossed.

Dead meats 'Fresh Meat' competetion final submissions are today. I really hope we get in. I fear the next update will be a no. Sad Sad Sad.
